William C. and Eva Hanaway establish Tech Tool & Die as a precision tooling shop and heat treating service.
Tech Tool & Die becomes Tech Tool & Mold, Inc. in the late seventies as more complete plastic injection molds are being built.

1980:
Tech Molded Plastics is formed with the addition of short and long run injection molded plastics presses. The investment in production equipment complimented the tooling division's mold building services providing quality finished goods.
Tech introduces mold design and engineering services in the early eighties to compliment its tooling and molding services. |

1991:
Scott M. Hanaway assumes the role of President succeeding his father and applying the craftsmanship skills needed to grow the company to a higher level of technical capabilities, greater capacity and profitability. |

1995:
Expansion triples the size of Tech's facility to 30,000 square feet. The growth in size and capability includes greater capacity for full-service engineering, mold design, precision tooling and custom injection molding. |

1997:
Achieves QS9000 and ISO 9002 quality certifications. The quality certification systems are recommended by a 3rd party registration firm for the two companies only after 8 months of preparation.
